new year's resolutions so far: alright

my camera is still broken. its raining. i'm still resentful, but with a month under my belt. i been sewing alot with the kids. so much they already went through 13lbs of synthetic stuffing (you know the stuff you put inside dolls so they can be fluffy). so a week ago i went downtown and bought another bag. then i thought i wanted to make a heart made out of felt but it turns out someone already did:

so maybe i'll just buy these, they are from this website--->here. but my heart is going to be different. my co-worker is having an art show in the middle of the month. i'm going to be in it...you should come. not! j/k... and i'm prohibited from invited anyone up North so you missed out.

and my other co-worker gave me a copy of Santigold. man, i'm so behind on my pop culture...lol. i like this video it has everything i like: shades of gray, a horse, gold, a good haircut, violence, artsy farsty crap.

and I, also hope it will be worth what I give up. now to being somehow productive.

I'm Not a Journalist I Just Crush Alot

So this guy, in the middle, was paid $600 dollars a week to dissolve dead people in acid. Over the course of ten years he dissolved 300 bodies. His name is Santiago Meza López, aka "El Pozolero del Teo", this is pozole at the bottom. Enough said.

And who might have ordered all these bodies to be disposed of you might ask? a narcotraficante...duh! read an actual article about this here and here. Crazy shit.

*images used without permission from here and here. if i knew how to make pozole i totally would have made it just to take a picture of it...so sorry Taco Rosa.

Florence Ave: Hit & Run

a 4 year old was killed here, in a hit and run about a week ago. there were helicopters everywhere that day. watching the news i found out the driver had parked his truck on crockett street(where the car is at) and left the scene walking...you can still see a huge stain on the road pointing to the teddy bears :(

looks like a comet landed in downtown LA

*if my camera actually worked it would actually look like a comet landed in LA aka a construction site down First street

so i spent the whole weekend on the blue line/red line/downtown shuffle so today i was really tired. really tired. i have a funny story to tell but out of respect(?) for the parties involved i'm
not going to say a word. all i have to say is...kids get your shit together! now that i think about it the story is not funny but more like anger inducing.

anyways, i'm waiting for my new camera in the mail and i just bought a table saw. so that means no more blurry pictures and hopefully more work. in the mean while, why are all the bars red?

p.s. i actually know why.

3 videos Mr. West?

so me and the sister had been trying to figure out if there was a second part to the Kanye West video "Flashing Lights"...you know, what the hell happens after the girl hits him with the shovel? apparently 2 more videos that have nothing to do with the first one. i guess Mr. West didn't like how the first two came out so he made another one. i personally like the first one the best.

the latest one, 3

this one reminds me of the movie Gia , 2

my favorito, 1

so the other day a kid tells me he feels bad. i ask him whats wrong, he then tells me he can't go number 3. what the hell is number 3?
