Red Bull Flugtag 2010

Red Bull Flugtag was too hot. I heart Jillian Reynolds but the box car race was funner.

The Misadventures of the Downtown LA Artwalk

This is picture while I was on the Downtown LA art walk last month...I had more fun last month then this month. I don't mind the tons of people, "bar crawl", "truck crawl" (which I found out is the first Friday of the month!), "drunken crawl", or whatever type of "crawling" you are doing during the artwalk. What I do mind is all the "so, so art". Makes me miss the SF art walk...

Downtown LA Art Walk Coming Up

Ms. Harlow...surprise to see her there.... Oscar Grant in the air.

A free non-alcoholic drink later, I wish I had not eaten before hand...Indian food lunch truck!

Next stop, chandelier after chandelier...Wait, that's a mirror.

People selling art:

Look up,

Next...few steps down. Frida! But not by Frida...

Right about now my feet were killing it:

But then we saw LA's youngest rapper alive!!!!!!!!!

Next Downtown LA Art Walk is August 12...

Sorry, but You Need a Permit For That

Its that time of that month again: second Thursday of the month equals LA Downtown Art Walk...Above metal origami by Gerardo Hacer.

Hey I seen that movie! Art @ 50/24 SF LA Gallery...

I haven't seen that movie, but I like this at the Hive Gallery.

Movie making... I guess I'll never know what movie they are doing because I never been inside that building:

PopLock: love these photographs by Lexie. I think this might be my new favorite...

Random, I just realize who that is! lol...

Performance art by MadHause, like someone said that night: " I don't know what they are doing, but I can't stop taking pictures".

Art watching, @ Continental Gallery:

Art talking...
Close up, beautiful.

There is an itch I can't scratch off.

This was a sign:
That you need a permit to perform in the streets...lame. So everyone got shut down by 9pm. I wrote the name of the band and unfortunately press "erased all" on my phone, so I don't know their name:

Party pooper:

See you next month.

Love Evolution...Why so Contrasty?

Waiting...
Meeting...
Wondering...
Leaving...
Passing out...
Look the Asian Art Museum...
City Hall...the weekend was short but sweet. A reminder of how much I love going up the Grapevine. A Tear for San Francisco cuz I miss it... Does that make sense?

Oh yeah, Love Evolution was $10 this year and we ended up in some "warehouse" in the mission. Tried to crash a party but the party was...you know. But it was really fun.
