Two Shows ending January 1: Part 1

Say what you will about Mr. Brainwash but after seeing him in person I realized why so many people have trusted him. This man is a ball of positive energy! The art show is a whole building of art/graffiti (3/4 floors, I lost count). My favorite was the top floor. All the walls were cover in writing and something really beautiful happen at sunset. Duh, the sun went down but being there you felt this weird awe moment of beauty. The show has been extended to January 1st & 2nd (Closed Dec 31).

The Early Bird Gets the Wine...

After months of refusing to go to the LA Art Walk (last time I went was in October) I finally went for the March one... And I figured out how to make it not suck: Get there early! It's not crowded, there is still some free wine, and there is actual people looking at the art! Above art by Devon Paulson at Los Angeles Center for Digital Art Gallery. The photo above does not do the art work justice... go check it out. Show closes May 5. Next artwalk this next Thursday... Duh! I thought it was this week.

More images from Devon Paulson:

COOKIES! Chocolate chip cookies!

I never get tired of seeing this, granted it's a different p.o.v:

I Dare You To Run!

Parking lots of fun... Driving your parents to the airport for their holiday vacation... Did I forget to mention I am really close to parents and this massively blows! They left me for Jesus's B-day! I guess that's what I get for ruining last year.

The next day I ran into this, thanks for rubbing it Times!

The Smelliest Ever...

Been feeling like I can get around LA without driving. Yes, I know its a pipe dream but let me live it for five minutes and drink it too, above La Cita. Below Lingoberries:

Someone broke the sink at The Smell, crap.

I stole the Bat Man banner from my sis and she got super pissed. That was back in April and what do you know? There it is!

Picture con Sequencia...Opening/Closing.

Above, exquisite corpse mural. I did the bottom right side...bottom. LOL.

Below, one of my favorite... I wanted to buy many of the during the auction but I held my composure...

Hands down best title for a show ever, the end results were awesome too.

Video Numero Uno, all the films were done exquisite corpse style too. Artists were only given the last frame of the previous film and then added from there. The results felt rather hallucinogenic:

Auction time:

Funny as hell...
When I drove home from the opening this street was close to a "private party"... Really? Then I remember lots of "business" is leaving California...so rent away our streets!

Video Numero Dos, ditto:
