Sister, Sister...

Learned about Sretsis (sister backwards) while doing a report on Thailand for one of my classes. I ♥ their dresses, and this photo shoot. Reminds me of the little porcelain figurines I broke as a kid... Here is their spring/summer 2010 -11:

Phony Mahony

Hmmm, went to a party, got super trashed and now I'm in deep, deep, massive crap.

Me and the sis went walking around downtown LA. Even though, I had told myself I was not going to contribute to the Catholic church with any of my money I couldn't help myself when I saw this adorable rosary ring that looks like a medieval weapon. Or some sort of crazy sex toy.

Been watching a bunch of documentaries, here is one of them:

In ghost town...or so he says.

But do the curtains match the drapes? ha, double negative...in a way. Reading out loud about some crazy book with a crazy plot, below:

Huh?
Sparklers, both of them.

In conclusion, SF felt different. Things are not the same then again things change.

new year's resolutions so far: alright

my camera is still broken. its raining. i'm still resentful, but with a month under my belt. i been sewing alot with the kids. so much they already went through 13lbs of synthetic stuffing (you know the stuff you put inside dolls so they can be fluffy). so a week ago i went downtown and bought another bag. then i thought i wanted to make a heart made out of felt but it turns out someone already did:

so maybe i'll just buy these, they are from this website--->here. but my heart is going to be different. my co-worker is having an art show in the middle of the month. i'm going to be in it...you should come. not! j/k... and i'm prohibited from invited anyone up North so you missed out.

and my other co-worker gave me a copy of Santigold. man, i'm so behind on my pop culture...lol. i like this video it has everything i like: shades of gray, a horse, gold, a good haircut, violence, artsy farsty crap.

and I, also hope it will be worth what I give up. now to being somehow productive.

art falling from the sky and the neon, sequins mystery kinda solved

i'm fucking bored. they changed my hours at my job so now i have to stay here later then usual...which is hella boring. anyways, sunday sara and i decided to walk from 16th Mission all the way to the powell station. on our way home i spotted a journal on the floor. i guess if its yours hit me up(you'll just need to describe it)...it has a story about harold or something. the point is the journal came with some postcards(?)...

one similar to this by Jaime Scholnick...i love it when art falls from the sky, for free.

i also found an article on why all the kids are going crazy over neon and metallic crap. its by Dmitri Siegel, with pics by Mark the Cobra Snake. sure, i admit it me too but i personally just do it to annoy the shit out of people. and i just think it fun to wear tacky clothes. the article points out that if kids are wearing clothes that obviously makes them stand out they must not feel alienated or bored. i think i read it like 3/4 times over and over and nothing would stick...damn, i love fragmented incomplete sentences.

Vivienne Westwood Stalker

It was Vivienne Westwood weekend. Went to the "Couture and Cocktails: Exhibition Opening Party for Vivienne Westwood" friday at the de Young...people were overdress. The show ended and we ended up at Delirium...It was too early and we were too dressed up to say goodnight.

The next day I saw Dame Westwood get her honorary doctored from the Academy of Art. I have to say she made me laugh till no end. She reminded me very much of Mr.Lydon.
She pretty much said there is no talent out there, to stop buying stuff, and she never compromised anything because she always did things her way. I like her.
